Vincent, known for his athleticism, infectious personality, and unwavering loyalty to those around him, leaves behind a legacy that will be cherished by family, friends, and teammates alike.
Vincent, a standout player on the Assumption University football team, was a defensive back whose talent and work ethic had already made an impact at the collegiate level. At 6’1″ and 190 pounds, he was a force to be reckoned with on the field. But for all his success in sports, those who knew Vincent best remember him not just for his athleticism but for his character. He was the kind of person who made others feel special, whether through his kindness, his quick wit, or his loyalty to those he loved.
“He had this way of making everyone around him feel like they mattered,” said a close friend of Vincent’s. “Whether it was on the football field or just hanging out with friends, you could always count on him to bring positive energy. His humor and personality were so infectious.”
Vincent’s journey to Assumption University began in Bethpage, where he was a star athlete at Plainedge High School. There, his talent in football, basketball, and track earned him recognition as an All-Conference player, and his high school team won two football championships in 2019 and 2021. It was clear from a young age that Vincent had a bright future ahead of him, both in sports and life.
Despite his on-field success, Vincent’s true strength was his relationships. He was the type of person who valued family above all else, with a particular bond with his siblings—Joseph, Charlotte, and Jack. A fan of the Detroit Lions and an admirer of wide receiver Calvin Johnson, Vincent dreamed of one day owning his own business. But his most treasured memories included moments spent with his loved ones, particularly winning the Long Island Championship with his brother, Joseph.
Those who knew Vincent were quick to highlight his warmth and sense of humor. His friends often joked that he resembled rapper Jack Harlow, but beyond the playful banter, Vincent’s true passion lay in making others feel appreciated and seen.
